How to deal with a sister who doesn't wash her hands or flush the toilet?

My sister literally refuses to bathe, flush the toilet and wash her hands. You might ask: "Max, how do you know she doesn't?" The way I know is that it doesn't seem like she does, so I tell her to, and instead of denying that she did it, she just flat out refuses. And she's not a toddler, she's 13 years old. She's glued to her iPad. I've brought this up with my mom but she refuses to consider an argument between us. All 3 bathrooms in our house are like tainted by her. What can I do to salvage the two years I have left in this house?

Well, I would say do the following...

1) Keep your use of a bathroom down to one , if possible.
2) If you can keep others way or minimize their use of that bathroom, would be my second piece of advice.
3) Keep anti-bacterial wipes handy in that bathroom and use them often.
4) Educate your mom and your sister on the perils of bathroom sanitation. Previously, you have not been successful. So try a different tactic. Find funny but scary videos something that breaks through their denial. You only need one to flip. Once you flip one, the other will follow.

Good luck. You aren't insane for worrying about this. Not washing your hands after you pee or poop is a very bad thing and should not be minimized.

Lol, my roommate told me once, get ready, "I don't wash my hands much" BISHHHHHH we share a bathroom, could you turn on the faucet and pump some damn soap in your hands.
This is stuff we learned in kindergarten, common sense, what you can do is
-disinfect the door knobs regularly
-don't touch your face or rub your eyes much
-try to touch the door knobs as much as possible
-wash your hands thoroughly

It's a phase a lot of kids go through. It's up to your parents to enforce hygiene though. You can try to manipulate the situation by looking up various germs and diseases a person can pick up and spread by being filthy.

Oh. Right. I was actually picturing putting a lock on the door or something but I guess that might not work that well. My brother went through a phase where he refused to aim and I installed a doorknob with a lock and kept the key.

You could also try reversing the lock and when she goes just lock her in from the outside til she flushes.

And it's an iPad, it's not hard to break. You just gotta look at it sideways and it'll crack.
