Why are my lips fuller when I wake up in the morning?

It depends on the blood supply. When there is excess blood supply , your lips expand. During the day time you are usually on your feet. So most of the blood goes to your legs and your head. During the night as your head is not in a thinking mode , it needs less blood supply. Also as your legs are parallel to the ground level , blood flows freely throughout your body. Lips usually need more blood supply when it is usually cold , because lips lose heat easily , so they expand with blood supply when it is cold during the nights and early mornings.

It happens to everyone.. Could be lips, puffy eyes.. Or some don't notice anything at all. When your body sleeps at night it retains water. Making you kinda plump in the mornings. That's why they tell you to wait about 30min before you shave your legs or whatever so that it gives your body time to processing all that back through your body.

Your entire face is puffy when you wake up, it's just what happens. If it's really bad, you could have a condition, but slightly fuller is probably just normal sleep reaction, this is why you're wiser to shave at night than first thing in the morning, you won't get the closest shave in the morning but you will at night when things are so puffy.

That happens to me. They look really weird, considering my lips are pretty full when they're normal.

The buildup of fluid or inflammation. I looked it up, nothing there to reduce the swelling fast, but it should go away in thirty minutes to an hour. A cold compress reduces inflammation in the eyes, so you can try that with your lips as well. (cold spoons, water, etc.)

It happens if you are sleeping with your face on pillow. So face and lips has pressure and weight on it all night which leads to swelling..
