Can tight clothing cause stretch marks?

I'm not fat, never have been, and I'm in very good shape. But I for some reason have purple stretch marks on my inner thigh. Why is this? Can tight clothing cause stretch marks or are there other reasons?

No, unless the clothing is so tight that it somehow rearranges all the subcutaneous fat and extra skin to and from various parts of your body in quite rapid intervals, which creates room for random, unevenly filled spaces.

Purple stretch marks can be caused by possible bruising beneath fat or the thinning and stretching of skin to see veins, arteries, and capillaries beneath. Though I'm not a doctor so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Could also be your length, I was 6"7(200cm) by the time I was 16. Got me quite a shitload of those.

that's very possible.. wearing tight clothes if you even squat down to pick something there is a friction caused between your thigs and clothes, particularly on rough material like jeans..
