White guys, would you rather bring a black girl home or have a one night stand?

honestly you are probably not gonna get the real answers, people are too busy being PC. I am a black girl so don't take it as me being insulting because I'm not! the majority of white guys are going to date white. I don't care what anyone says most black people are not considered "acceptable" to bring home even in 2010. do a search on this site and type in "black girls" and see like 80% of the stereotypical things that the answerers write about us.

my parents warned me about this, if you are looking for a serious relationship do not go for white because usually they just want to see what its like hooking up with a black girl but aren't willing to date one and deal with criticism of friends, family, and society. if you are gonna settle down with a guy you have a better chance if you just stay in your race. I know society is trying to push the interracial stuff and it might work out for SOME people, but the reality is it is gonna be that much harder for a black girl trying to date out

there are a FEW successful serious black female/white male interracial relationships/marriages but for the most part a black girl is not gonna get taken home.

I kind of agree with this. I'm white and I started dating black guys as much as white in college and faced a lot of criticism for it from friends and family. I cared enough about the issue to tell them to get over it and be happy no matter who I brought home, but it was a tough battle and not everyone will be willing to go through it. I know white guys though that have a thing for black women though so don't feel pressure not to date them if that's what you want.

Some might have a thing for black women, as in they are sexually attracted to us and see us as big booty vixens, but as far as serious dating and bringing her home to mom? chances from that are slim to none. if she wants to date outside her race that's her business but she should know what she's getting into. also a lot of guys are gonna choose their family over her and not stick up for her as much

What! are we not talking about the same species or what? black, white asian people all share the same similarities in emotions, there are more differences between genders than there are between races, I mean who gives a f***. I mean there is no pressure for people to date out but for those that do, their shouldn't be anything holding them back. I cn see you have had bad experiences and probably woudl rather stay within your own race, that's fine but I don't think the idea of a whole group of people feeling the same about black women is fair. I wouldn't have a fling to begin with and woudln't give two f***s what anyone says, id deffinitly take a black girl home and if she was ideal id marry her. its not anything to do with race that would decide it for me and its not always race as the reason everyone decides who they date

There are differences in culture. Yes we are all the same as human beings but to deny that there are culture differences and familial differences is just false. I haven't had bad experiences, I've never dated a white guy before I am just giving people advice from my perspective. If you would bring a black girl home and marry her then congrats, but you are not in the majority with your thinking by a long shot.

Maybe it's just the area/region that you are from. I'm in Los Angeles, we have people from all over the world here. While I'm sure that some may take issue, I can assure that dating outside your race is quite common here. You would actually have to work very hard to only date within your own race in Southern California.

Thanks, yeah many times it is true that there are cultural dividence amongst them but I don't really see that as significant enough to not be able to overcome, I mean if your willing to date out than the culutural differences should also be acknowledged. saying that, its not always true there is cultural differences, regardless of race all races can share the same culture, I'm assuming your from the u.s, where I'm from its not really made that big a deal and because of that not many people mind

Well, I was just wondering what everyone thought about this. I truthfully believe family is everythinh to a certain respect. But wheb you become in a serious relationship\marriage you start a new family no matter race my brother is white and black yet I am black doesn't bother me a bit but seeing my father frown upon my mothers choices is weird coming from the black side. Its sometimes startling to see that they're black biggots that preach equaility but would " kill a mother f***er"

I've dated girls of many ethnicities and color. It never concerned me. I never introduced someone I was dating to my family, regardless of what they looked like, until I felt that the relationship had potential. If it was someone I was just hooking up with, again, regardless of who they were or their appearance, I would never bring them around family or friend functions.

And it isn't being attracted to a specific race or skin color. It's the individual.

I am Irish, so dating outside of Irish is generally frowned upon in my family. But, no one would be mad at me for settling down with someone I was happy with. One night stands and settling down are two entirely different things. Don't put so much emphasis on reading far into it, won't help very much. But yes, if a situation with a black girl arose who I was compatible with and could see myself having a future with her, I would go for it.
