Is it very rare to see Asian girls with black guys?

I personally don't care what race or ethnicity my friends/dates are. I've dated guys outside of my race and there didn't seem to be a problem, at least I didn't realize.

Recently I met this black guy at work and sometimes we would go get lunch together, and he told me how every time we were out on the street, people just kept looking at us weirdly. Say one time we were in this small restaurant and the few people in there were all looking at us, like they'd pretend to be eating but then looked at me up and down like I've done some REALLY BAD things. And then they'd look at that black guy and immediately looked away when he looked and smiled back. He told me it's because he's with me; if he's by himself or with his friends, he'd have asked them what they were looking at.

Even at work, he told me how all those people just star at us when we talk, like I shouldn't have talked with him because he's a black. Whatever these people do doesn't really bother me because I wouldn't even notice it if he hasn't told me and I don't really care what some strangers think, but it seems like it bothers him and from time to time he'd say that I'm scared of him because he's a black even though I repeatedly told him I'm not. He has also said how my parents would be mad if they see me with him, a black guy.

He has showed interests and I think he is a nice guy so far, but would his race be an obstacle for us? Why do people hate black guys?

look, there will always be people who are still stuck on race. The question is, are you going to let those ignorant people stand in the way of you being with someone you are really interested in? I lived in Japan, and there were many black marines with asian spouses or girlfriends. Yes, many times, their parents might not agree with this interracial dating, but I think you should give it a try. Those looks and stares are probably getting to your guy just like they're getting to you, and he's probably second guessing if you really want to be with him or not, which may explain his comments towards you. Just make sure you let him know you're interested and don't care what strangers think of your relationship.

i am a military brat and I know and have seen quite a few blasians.

black people are pretty much the most hated and persecuted ethnic group in the united states. they have been discriminated and hated since they got to this country and its slowly changing, but hatred for them by some is still there. so honestly as long as you are with a black man you are gonna see that and most likely get it directed toward you too. if you like him, he likes you, and he is a good guy then go for it, this is your life. you have to understand that he probably would be uncomfortable and uneasy about it though. but hopefully everything works out for the best with the both of you.

i see a lot of blacks and asians together, they make beautiful babies! but there is still a lot of racism in this country, my mom got punched when she was first with my dad, he's black and she's white. But I say just ignore it, if you guys are not ignorant enough to worry about race that's all that matters. Also, watch out for black women too if you guys end up together, they are very against "other women" taking "their men", its quite sad. good luck!
