Will my parents know im high?

How easy is it to tell if someone is high. Im gonna smoke weed with my friend at the weekend and my parents were ment to be going away for the night but now they are gonna be home? How long does the high usually last? Will i get red eyes - and how long will it last? Will they realise i am high?

Let's see.. it usually last 3-4 hours... red eyes can happen but in my experience only if you smoke a lot.. and you can always say "i didn't sleep well" ...

if you are nervous or paranoid during the high then it will be obvious that "something" is wrong because... people usually aren't nervous and paranoid and it's instinct to tell when another person is panicked (goes back to cave man days) even if you aren't high... if you start panicking about it they will notice, so keep calm, be yourself, stop thinking so much, if you start thinking about something say a color over and over slowly, calmly, and breath deeply,

and most importantly... it's the smell...
take a shower, spray yourself and relax, no one can really tell. Just make sure you don't talk to them for an extended amount of time.

your eyes may be red. you can take eye drops for that

they may know. it just matters how in tuned to this kind of thing your parents are. a high usually lasts about 1-2 hours, depending on how much you smoke, how frequently, strength of pot, etc

I'd recommend getting high right after you arrive at your friend's so that the weed has time to wear off at least partially by the time you get home. You might get red eyes, you might not, depends on a lot of things. They might realise but that also depends on how affected you'll be when you get home, how long of a conversation you'll have with them etc. Also make sure your clothes/yourself don't smell of weed because it has a really strong scent so even if you don't appear stoned if they smell it you're fucked.

Here's a tip. Take some eye drops with you. When you're done smoking, drop a couple of drops in each eye. Takes the redness away immediately
