Jungle vs Swamp? which would you say is more uncomfortable to live in?

I like tree houses, that's a big plus for the jungle.
However, I don't like too warm and moist climate.
Swamps always have lots of moist, but they are not necessarily warm, so that's a plus for the swamp.
Jungles have more edible plants compared to swamps, that's another advantage for the jungle, though, jungles also have more poisonous plants, basically, it's like a double-edged sword.
Swamps usually have mushrooms, I like them, another plus for the swamp.
Nevertheless, it's more likely to run into quicksand when you're in the swamp, so that's kinda minus for swamps.
Jungles usually have lots of dangerous animals, most of them can't reach me while I'm in the tree house, but venomous insects and spiders can.
Swamps often have crocodiles, and poisonous snakes, unless it's a cold swamp, but all swamps have mosquitoes, and I really hate them. On the other hand, jungles have them too, so it's a tie.

swamps depending on location are generally terrible. Where as jungles are not only livable but all the resources you need to live in one are readily available as long as you are willing to look. Some of the native tribes of the Amazon can make temporary shelters out of a plant whose stems are flexible but strong and the leaves they can use as shingles and those shelters seem to keep them dry through even the heaviest of down pours. Both have there dangers with jungles having more for the most part. depending on the location swamps have very little dry land meaning any shelter has to be built between trees and suspended over the water. Also food is harder to come by in a swamp at least from what I could find online. Nerded out... my bad hope that helped lol

I guess I'll take the swamp... Much better climate overall, but it also depends on the locations. There's a rather nice one near where my aunt lives- no overly dangerous animals or other death traps lurking at every corner, haha.

Goin with the swamp only because they're aren't many predators like in the jungle.
Or at least in my country there isnt- only crocs and snakes- maybe bigfoot lol or they call him the skunk ape 😉

The Finnish swamps aren't bad at all, so I'd choose that over a jungle any time. Jungles are usually moist and hot. I hate that sort of climate.

Finnish swamps would be desirable compared to any jungle. Finland has always intrigued me. As has their language, which, if I remember right, only has a direct European connection to Basque.

The Finnish language is part of the Uralic language family and thus related to for example Hungarian and Estonian. Estonian is really similar to Finnish. Hungarian not so much.

I had no idea Estonian was so related to Finnish. The Huns were dark haired people, and Estonians and Finnish, blond, I think. (in general) The Huns invaded in the 440's. Did the the Finns and Estonians come around the same time? Are they related? I had never thought so, until now.

I don't actually know exactly where the Finns came from, and I don't think scientists have ever come to a conclusion either.

One quick question. Do the lakes in Finland, or the northern Baltic ever get wars enough for someone who is not Finnish, to swim in?

I guess so. The water temperature can be 15°C to 18°C in the summer. I don't know about the Baltic, though.

That's really cold for a southern boy. That's about 64.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Even our cold springs are about 70-72 degrees F year round. Thanks for the info.

The swamp is so much worse all that water crocodiles mosquitoes and snakes you have to deal with and after all that you have to sleep out there. Building your bed in a tree because you can't sleep on the ground. I've seen those shows naked and afraid
