Would you rather have retrograde or anterograde amnesia?

Retrograde amnesia means you forget all your past memories... that includes everyone you know/have known... but you can make new ones.

Anterograde amnesia means you lose the ability to create new memories. You still have your past memories, and you can live in the moment and enjoy your days, but the day is wiped clean when you go to bed and wake up the next morning (a la 50 first dates).

Which would you choose to have if you had to have either?

Even though it would be a loss to forget everyone who means/ment something to you from you past, I think it could put you more in the now and therefore could be happier opposed to only have your past, however great or miserable that was, and not remember your new experiences.
The latter would mean you are stuck in your past and cannot repaint old memories to make something good of them. (Meaning bad memories will not fade or be changed like a bad/sad memory with a song you can repaint/change by listening to that sing during a whole new very positive experience)

That's a really tough choice... Honestly I wouldn't mind to forget most of my past, but I don't want to forget about my girlfriend.. although it would probably be worse to not be able to make new memories or plans for a future with her, so... I'm gonna go with retrograde amnesia.
Hopefully it wouldn't throw us off too much.

I would chose to make new memories and would rely on the people from my past to remind me of it. It would be far worst not be able make any more memories at all in the future it would be like if it never happened.

With the first a normal life can be lived from the start with the second u would need to be reliant of people to live

Both would suck but be kind of cool but if I forget my daughter that would be messed up but I wouldn't care if I forget everyone else
