Answering for my girlfriend here. One time, to surprise my girlfriend, I shaved my chest hair, pubes and armpit hair. She was surprised all right. She hated it.

My girlfriend is a fan of chest hair - and the rest for that matter. As she put it, she does not want to feel that she is with a guy who never made it through puberty. She is okay with naturally smooth, but she does not get the whole shaved thing.

To my great relief. That was a lot of work.

It's creepy and bugs live in it. Also, it gets full of crumbs when you eat Doritos. Then your chest looks like the fluff under the couch, full of bits of crap.
