Never leave your drink alone at the bar

ok so I know this women (not me lol)that went out with her boyfriend this weekend. She left her drink with him and went to the bathroom when she came back she downed her drink then hit the dance floor. Later on she turned really violent and started yelling, screaming, and cursing at him. And then she felt really sick and passed out. The next morning her boyfriend was really upset with her and asked her what had gotten in to her that night. She didn’t remember anything...so feeling unsure of things after she had heard what happened she took a drug test. She failed the drug test for methenamines.she has never done any drugs in her life. After she told me what happen I asked if she kept an eye on her drink the whole night "no” she said. “Well that’s what happens then somebody spiked your drink!"I said to her. Never leave your drink alone at the bar! Keep your eye on it the whole time you’re drinking it! If you’re about to hit the dance floor or go to the bathroom “down that sh*t before you go” has this happen to anyone else? And what are your thoughts on this?

she just called called me and told me she is shaking a lot and her insides feel like they are on fire.she thinks she is going through DTs and want to know how long this will last and is there anything she can do to make herself feel better?

um this isn't anything new, I've never whitnessed it but heard storeis...basically what happens, I mean number one a girl should NEVER leave her drink anywhere, guys too but less likely for something like this to happen to a guy...anyways what happened to her, was...some guy was probably eyeing her out, watching her if you will...he slipped something in her drink and waited around to see the effects...after finding out that she had a boyfriend he knew she wasn't going ot go home with him...i don't think rufies fall under the category of meth's but I dunno...why not take the drink with her? its just all in all a bad idea, unless you have someone you're sitting with watch your drink, to ever leave it alone at a bar...esp if you're a girl, you're just asking for something like that to happen...notice how she didn't remember anything...thats the point, to go home with the guy that did that, then he has sex with her, drops her off somewhere and she has no idea wha thappened...its just dangerous, tell her to be more careful, I'm sure she will be

yeah normaly she is really careful I meen really careful but the one time she's not this happens

in response to your update, she needs to go to a doctor, tell him/her what happened and get the proper medication (if any) to help move her along in this recovery process. Unfortunatly there is nothing she can do about her drug test that she failed. I'm not quiet sure what DT's are...but by the sounds of it doesn't seem good. but she needs to figure out what was put in her drink and how to go about the recovery process, go to a doctor!

I'm a drinker, never drank so much on a night that I woke up with DT's and I haven't thrown up in years because I drink slowly. I love the buzz and have learn how to keep it going for hours, plus I hate the alcohol spins, so I wouldn't know about DT's or hangovers. I'm a professional drinker who can drive while intoxicated like no other.

As for leaving drinks unattended, I agree. I'm from Los Angeles -- the city of "death" angels -- and that sort of stuff happens all the time.

lol well thank you! and I love LA lol!but anyways she doesn't feel like that from the alcohol its because some one put drugs in her drink sat night and she still feeling sick from it.idk I just told her to try and sleep it off

yeah I know right!she is always a very careful person but the she time she slips up this happens!i know most people know not to do this but sometimes you get drunk and forget.i know I have but luckly nothing happen to me!she was lucky her boyfriend was there with her.but np I just thought some people needed to be reminded I guess lol :)

Well uh yeah, you're kinda retarded if you set your drink down for that long then come back and down it without even considering that maybe someone tampered with it. She should've just taken it with her, or otherwise just gotten a new drink. Alas being drunk tends to make people really stupid.
