What liquor drink do you get at the bar?

I used to do LIT's then I got into screwdrivers and maitai's. I like a good old fashion but most people make them terrible.

My go to for the last few years has been a gimlet, can you guess my gin? It's usually one of two and the second one might be a little hard to guess.

1 1/2 ounces cognac
3/4 ounce orange liqueur (such as Cointreau)
3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Garnish: orange twist
Garnish: sugar rim (optional)

Coat the rim of a coupe glass with sugar, if desired, and set aside. I don't do the sugar rim.

Add the cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with an orange twist.
