Where would you rather live. The Mountains or Beach?

I would choose the mountains as I like serenity and the sight of calm nature 🍃🌲 laid back is relaxing.

This is really hard for me to choose, I practically grew up at the beaches, I even have a beach house that I visit almost every month but I don't really like the heat, I would always prefer a cold peaceful mountain valley climate over a hot humid beachy climate but I would prefer the beaches over mountian nature even though I do love that as well...
So to sum it up since I would prefer the colder mountain climate and I don't have a problem with the entire mountain surrounding, I would choose to live at a mountain as long as it is a mountain similar to the ones in the picture above...

Torn... Im at the ocean right now and grew up around it but I've lived by the rockies the last 5 years and already miss them

The mountains look prettier but I like warm weather so I voted for the beach. But I prefer swimming pools. Beaches have pebbles that hurt your feet - salt water that make your hair dirty - fish that touch your skin - and people who make a big mess of the water.

While yes, I do love beaches as well. I get worried or scared about tsunami 🌊 all of a sudden happening while living there.

Both have their charms, but I enjoy the forest, rolling freshwater stream and waterfalls to a hot salty beach.

Go live on the Reunion island, there are mountains over 2000m. You drive from the beach 30min into the mountains.
I'd rather live in the mountains (only if the infrastructure is alright)

Mountains, easily. I like mountains anyways, and I can't swim. So, that was an easy choice.
