Why do I only have one dimple now?

Why as a baby/child I had two dimples then the older I got one disappeared? Now I’m left with just one. Does anyone know why? Also happened to my belly button I remember I had an outie then when I was around 9 it went into an innie..

You have some more fat in your face when you're young, which actually helps to make dimples more pronounced. Many people lose this as they get older, seeing their dimples partially or completely disappear.

I really can't speak to having just one of them disappear, but I imagine it's possible to have seen the structure of your face change slightly more in one side than the other

Since the dimple is in your left cheek, that could actually be the more fatty one, since the dimple is a muscle deformity underneath, the extra fat makes it more noticeable.
