I missed early 2000s Avril lavigne

I recently listened to her early 2000s songs and I I felt like I had time traveled. My body felt so alive and suddenly I felt like I was happy and felt like I belonged to this world. I realised that even though I was really young. I had been a fan of Avril and remembered her lyrics.

The two thousands were so good to me. I miss sk8er boi on TV.

What is something you miss.

Music! Aaliyah, Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, MJ, Prince, and Left-Eye were still alive. I miss when there was no Facebook and phonecalls were more appreciated. People were more likely to check their voicemails and not let their voice mailbox fill up. I also miss how motivated I was with drawing, graphic design, and making my own clothes. My creative drive is the one thing I really hope comes back to me.

I was a teenager through the 2000s. It was a very sad time in my life but I do miss an era without so much technology where you had to go meet people in person and experience things outside of a screen. The music is nostalgic as fuck to me too 😂

Huge legwarmers. They where the s*** when I was in school, I still have all my old pears. They are all shrivelled up from being washed so many times. I want them to come back so I can buy some new ones and wear them with pride!

I miss the times when there was no social media and internet controllerships as well as geo blocks and censorships. Oh and the video game industry was at it's peak at that time. Nowadays we have pay2win and dlc junk and deliberately demanding games.

I miss the days I could go out to eat with friends, and the moment the waiter brought my food I was able to eat it. Now my food goes through a photo shoot. Our whole day out is broadcasted, and everyone has a phone attached to their face.

I was born in 2000, and although I grew up from the mid to late 00s, I consider myself a kid of the 00s. I mostly miss the culture from the decade! I miss the music, the fashion and the entertainment!

Those days were good wow... I didn't have a computer back then, I would go to the store to buy new albums and magazines. Those things had a thrill... now it's all shit :(
