Is 4'6 (137cm) too short for a 19 year old girl?

Hey everyone.

I'm a 4'6 girl from the UK. I'm NOT a dwarf. Recently loads have been making fun of me at uni for how small I am so it got me thinking, am i actually just too small? What's everyone opinions on that?

Thats very under average. My girlfriend is 4'11 (148 cm) and she got heavily examined by doctors for years throughout puberty bc of that. She never got bullied a lot though bc its normal to be shorter as a woman (150-160) where she comes from.

Personally, i am 190 cm (i think thats 6'3?) And i love her guts. She looks extremely cute in 80% of all clothes and the fact that she buys XS here (she used to shop M back in her country) is a inside joke for us.

So yeah, i think you're alright. Just dont let it get to you.

It's definitely short and in Sweden they would have 100% given you growth hormones which I know many have received. I'm surprised you didn't receive this treatment since it's likely you had some deficiency that prohibited you from growing the rate you should have.

Anyway I'm very sure you can find a guy and for me it's not a deal breaker. Also don't let anyone bring you down, they are making a fool out of themselves picking on you and just showing how insecure they are themselves.

Nope, you aren't too short. I'm just over 182 (6 feet) and I get the "you're too tall" all the time. You definitely aren't just too small, you're body is different just like everyone else's is. Gotta learn to love it

I have trouble buying clothes too. Lots of the clothes that properly and comfortably fit my length don't fit my width and vice versa. It's the struggle I pay for because of my genes

You're a midget if you are under 5' tall. As long as you aren't a dwarf so you look right proportionally (don't have overly large hands or head for your body size) then your size is okay.
I'm 6' tall and I used to think if a girl was under 5' she would be too short for me, but one of my co workers was 4' 9" and before she said that, I didn't think her height would be too small.
4' 6" is pretty small, but I think it can still be okay for dating and stuff, but you may have difficulty driving and reaching stuff.

I do tend to tease short girls sometimes for their height, but it isn't to be mean, it is more because being small adds to their cuteness. Just embrace your height. Don't try to wear high heels or anything to make up for it. Enjoy that you are small and only be with someone that really likes your small height. I think it's cool.

Well, obviously it's below average, but I wouldn't say it's too short.

It's just unusual, which is probably why people make fun. That's extremely rude, though. There's nothing you can do to change your height, anyway. Screw them; short girls are cute.

If they're not all that tall, either, then they've probably been the victim of teasing, themselves, so they find it "fun" that they have the opportunity to tease someone shorter than them, for a change.

If you have a pretty face, and slim, well proportioned body, I bet lots of guys are attracted to you. I dated a girl that was 4'9" and found her attractive. Smallness can be very feminine. I wouldn't worry. There's a segment of guys that'll be into you. I'm super curious what you or a girl your size looks like.
