This is a funny story but once I remember I had to sleep without blankets while camping because it was sooso extremely hot and I didn't wanna heat myself to death in the middle night. I just feel more secure with a blanket covering me, so I ended up sleeping on my back and placing my heavy back pack on my chest and then another bag on my legs. it looked weird af sleeping with random objects on top of me but it helped me get to sleep.

... well, and the fact it's hot as hell where I live and in the summer time. Since I'm a cheapskate at heart, I turn put the air on lower at night to save on the bill. I'll take the risk of a demonic overlord dragging me under my bed if it means a night without dying of sweat.

Oh yeah, to make matters worse, my height sometimes means my feet hang off the bed. Armchairs scared me more when I was younger than beds!

Ugh mosquitoes are worse than the imaginary demons under our beds. I used to choose the mosquito route, then I got bit 60+ times in a single night, and let's just say I choose sauna every time now

It was one of the most uncomfortable weeks of my life 😩 I've stayed up til 4 am hunting many times, it's just natural instinct. Like it becomes impossible to sleep when there's a bloodthirsty threat nearby.

There’s nothing even under my bed. Like there’s probably about half an inch of space under my bed because I have built in drawers. But i still MUST AT ALL TIMES cover my feet. My legs are okay to be out but my feet must be covered

I don't think I am a bad ass but I can and do sleep without blankets if it's too hot. The monster blankets do save you from are the eight legged ones that like to sneak around and drop in on you. And to some spiders are monsters.
