Yes women and men both have testosterone and estrogen. Just usually men have a higher testosterone with just a little estrogen and progesterone.

Women have three kinds of estrogen estrone, estroil and estradiol, progesterone and testosterone. The estrogen and progesterone levels change depending on the time in the woman's cycle.

Now not every man has the same hormone levels nor women but there are some within normal range levels for both. Some men have more testosterone than others. Some of has to do with genetics. The same with women with estrogen.

Both women and men start losing some of their primary sex hormones as they start going into their 50s.

One odd fact that is not really talked about is the fact that not all women lose their libido when they go into menopause or postmenopause. These women will actually have a spike in their sex drive. It has to do with their estrogen dropping and their testosterone remaining high or being higher than their estrogen levels. Testosterone in women keeps their sex drive active. This is why in some cases you see the "cougar" effect with some women from 45 and up. They never lose their sex drive.
