When a guy says your laugh is endearing?

I work with this one guy and he says I act all cutesy and my laugh is endearing. he doesn’t known I’m into him, but the dating topic got brought up and the reason why I won’t tell him is because he says he only dates Christian girls, but at the same time, he’ll lay his head on my lap and let me play with his hair while he’ll wrap his arm around my thighs and he’ll be touchy (by touchy I mean poke my thigh, rub my back, stand shoulder to shoulder at times) . I don’t know, I guess what I’m asking here is what does it mean when a guy says your laugh is endearing? And do you think he may be into me? Or am I thinking to deep into it?
