People use to just throw large chunks of talc at babies to get them to go to sleep… That’s where the song rock-a-bye baby comes from. But then some safety bureaucrat got wise to it and they forced industry to soften the corners and reduced the weight of the stones for baby safety and we ended up with baby powder when all was said and done. It wasn’t until years later that people started to realize it’s other benefits.
