Is it ok to tell a married man you miss him?

I miss my one coworker but Im very aware of boundaries since he’s married so I don’t really text him. But I really miss him. I miss talking to him. If I phrase it like that is it ok to tell him that? I just don’t want to be inappropriate.

If it is 100% just in a friendly way and you don't have romantic interests in him then yeah that's fine. I think a hug goodbye is even normal for friends of the opposite sex. Phrasing could be important though. Maybe don't just send him a text that you miss him with no context.
