I don't know if this is the more ironic thing I've seen but... Everyone in my family is a Christian except me. I'm an agnostic-atheist. Yet I'm the only one that has never smoked, drank, did illegal drugs, or had a kid due to premarital sex. So basically (by their definition) their atheist brother & son is more "God-like" than them. Ain't that a bitch! 😂

I have had people call me "closed-minded" for being open to a variety of options, while they were trying to convince me to shut out about half of those. Also, for using factual evidence to support my theories while they used purely biased articles and anecdotal evidence based on very limited experience.

I have also had people call me "selfish" in regards to making decisions about my animals (including having to consider euthanasia) when I was basing those decisions 100% solely on what was best for them, regardless of how hard it was on me. Their arguments were all based on their personal feelings that they projected onto animals, and lots of anthropomorphization.

I should add that with the last one, when discussing the rescued horses I've known and owned whose owners absolutely should have rehomed them before running out of money and allowing them to starve, they actually said it would've been "selfish" to find new homes for them and that "money shouldn't matter". I don't know what world they lived in, but money absolutely *does* matter if you can't afford to feed your animals and they starve!
