My mother keeps most of the house windows open in winter?

I live in England. It’s winter now, and getting down to 0-5 degrees Celsius every day. Everyday, my mother opens the windows , it’s like she wants them open all the time. I don’t mind 15-30 minutes a day but they are constantly open. I am absolutely freezing. Even when she turns the central heating on she opens the windows. She just opened the patio door. Our home let’s ok cold very quickly if a window is open. Does anyone else do this?

with central heating on you house soon fills with condensation which causes issues with damp so i can see why she does it though she doesn't need to keep them open all the time like you described
