They messed someone's life up forever in the most selfish act possible. So, let them serve out the same fate in a way they can never perpetrate that act again.

Too many serve a prison sentence with an average of 7.083 years. Really? They damaged someone for life. 7 years, that's it?
The reoffense rate average is almost 30% (27.9) for those in active treatment. Those not in treatment that average number goes to 48.3% in a 5 year period after release. Go out 12 years and you hit a reoffense rate of over 60%.

60% of those released do it again within 12 years. 30% do it again (while in treatment) within 5 years.

Anyone else see how turning them into a eunuch seems to be a good solution? Can't do it if you don't have the equipment.

... I do not get this sentiment. What is the point of punishing people who has done wrong? It objectively does not fix anything. The victims does not get "unraped" because you punished the rapist. All you are doing is satisfying your own primitive urges at which point I do not think there are too many differences between what you are doing and what a rapist has done.

If we are talking about how to "fix" this situation we should be talking about how to help the victims instead and prevent more rape in the future.
