  I meant, if she values looking younger, then a compliment expressing that she looks younger than what she is, will be a valuable compliment to her. And nobody can tell her it wouldn't be. We can't extrapolate our feelings onto others.
  
  And I'm not here to dispute any observable facts, but in this case, it would still depend on what a person values.
  
  Most likely, someone isn't thinking of some ugly looking 30 year old when they compliment someone on looking younger than they are. They'd be basing it on the actual persons existing physical qualities. It would be in relation to the recipient, not some random person that looks significantly worse for their age.
