Because they're good boys, loyal and enthousiastic. I've had three and they're all awesome. They like going out, they're good at following commands and they don't scare as easily as smaller dogs. They're also used as police dogs because they stay calm, but are very smart. They're also a good size, no bullshit barking rats.
i guess, cause that comes closest to what a "dog" is. a breed of wolf. unlike these cutesy, imbred, tiny abominations that are more akin to cats or rats... or this completely bizarre bullshit called "pugs". i don't know what sick mind bread this trash. like what was their idea? "let's make a breed of dog that seems like their entire life is insufferable pain"?
I like animals in general, more a cat person though when it comes to my household. If I were to have a dog I'd want a fox, cuz adorable floof, and yes.
I had a king shepherd she was a handful but obedient, great family dog, but she had hip dysplasia, I couldn't let her suffer anymore very heart breaking 💔
Shepherd types are loyal by nature especially the german ones. They look bad ass too and if you are able to train them well you will always have a buddy to play with.
But the key here is loyal a german Shepherd loves you no matter what.
And come on Just look at them how can you not like
Depends. It varies from man to man. For me, they're very loyal and active. But sometimes i'd wonder, now i'm bored i want a calmer smaller dog. It's tough. No wonder i have no pets, i can't decide.
German shepherds are easy to train, very loyal, obedient, and protective dogs. Their drawback is that they shed so much and they have a short lifespan. Another great breed is a Havawart. They are just like a Shepard in reference to temperament.
I took a dog training class with my last dog. He was 4 months old. I'm using the same techniques with my current dog. It's working like a charm. It's very time consuming to train a dog. You have to reward them when they do what they're told
I can have my dog sit, beg, lay down and come without saying a word. I didn't do guard dog training. All my dogs became very protective of us after a while. I would "pretend to hit" my wife and my dog would attack me.
Im a pitty guy. Great strength, strong willed, and raised by a strong willed compotent &responsible owner they are tough looking on outside mushy babies on the inside.

They latch on to their owners more than most breeds fulfilling mens need to be wanted.
Do I detect sarcasm other than that very interesting

Well I have a puppy one and he's a terrorist... Wildest puppy ever
Hehe, gotta be active with em at that point 😁
I am very active with him. We just started training with a professional👍
Awww, nice 😊😊
Thank you

They are beautiful, loyal and smart animals. Second only to labs.
They are smart, loyal and protective.
Those first two properties are also good to find in a woman.
Lol nice
They’re big and manly looking. They convey power and size and strength. So do Dobermans and Rottweilers.
Thank you dude
Welcome
I wanted a mini schnauzer...
😂😂😂
I did😃
My favorite dog ever was a mini schnauzer named Elmo
Poodles are cool too
Really

I heard that is common in the breed.
@A_Bell it is
Yes it is but my time with her was worth it ✌️
I have one and have always loved the breed. They are simply the best. Smart, independent, loyal, protective and just overall beautiful aesthetics.
Because they’re loyal and smart. Unlike dem hoes out there.
Demhoes lol.
I didn't know they did. I love dogs but I probably favor golden retrievers (had them growing up), pitbulls, and mastiffs personally.
I love my husky too!! And I've had a German shepherd too. Both are the best dogs ever! And my English mastiff too
Because they can be aggressive aswell as loyal so they make the perfect Gaurd dog.
That's why I got one
A manly type. Actually useful for guarding, not a tiny annoying yapper.
Agreed

He's just a fucking adorkable ball. Aren't you little man? Yesh you are, yesh you are!
I think that most guys like bigger dogs so that is why they like German Shepherds but I do know a lot of males like Pitbulls too?

Mine doesn't train easy at all
How are you training him? What are you trying to teach him
Asics and leash training
Basics sit, stay, lay down he's only four months. I hired a trainer

It is.. do you do the body language part? And have you done guard dog training? I'm thinking of putting him in once he gets the basics down

If that's your dog in your profile, he's a beautiful dog.
It is that's Finley Tater🙂
How did you come up with that name?
My favorite river and a funny redneck middle name
Oh ok.
You like?
I do like it. It's original. Do you just call him Finley or do you use his full name
Fin.
