No, the very idea of super powers, like flying, or passing through solid objects… it violates even the most best basic laws of physics. From the laws of thermodynamics, to conservation of energy. Believing in super-powered individuals, especially based on things like glitches in digital video compression, is about as sensible as believing in Santa clause or the tooth fairy! I mean think about it… rename Santa Clause, The Gifter! A superhero with the power to visit more than a billion people in one night, wielding the power of the northern-crystal, and advanced alien technology he rights the wrongs of the past year by giving gifts to the well behaved, and punishing all those who dare to prey on the weak! It’s ridiculous. There is an old saying: when I was a child, I thought like a child, I played like a child, and acted like a child. When I became a MAN, I put away childish things… and the same applies to women! Comic book superhero’s make for great reading… when you’re a kid, they even make for fun mindless entertainment as an adult, but mindless entertainment is all they are. Two hours where you get to turn off your brain, and just be entertained. Let’s just leave it there, in the realm of mindless entertainment. A person can only be as capable as their brains allow. The human brain allows for a deeper kind of thought than what's available to beasts, and that's our super power. Igniting stuff with our minds is not possible from a plethora of point of views. Generating electricity would fry us as well, considering that everything we do is owed to electrical impulses sent from our brains to our limbs. I do believe there are people in the world like that but I think there powers are more exaggerated they people and it's possible they might be a diffrent species disguised as a human like aliens.

Yes there are people who gather earth energy and they can fly, cure people, walk thousand miles in a second, see people’s heart, etc. It was popular in 90’s when I was in Korea.
Let's look at this like grown ups. If people back then really did have superpowers why have they not come to dominate the earth?
