Why do you post revealing pictures of yourself?

I know that the main answer is going to be attention but that's generic and obvious. Don't try to answer for others either. Only answer for yourself as an individual. Would it bother you to not post revealing pictures? What do you get out of it? I will be giving an example with some photos below.

I never have and never will. My body is private and personal. It gives wrong the attention and what type of attention you are seeking. Who knows what people will do with those pics. My friend used to be a Instagram influencer and posted a lot of revealing pictures of herself and found out they were being used for a call girl website. She felt disgusted and sued the website to take them down. Ever since that accident she stop posting revealing pictures of herself and kept her account private so people won't steal her pics.

I'd sometimes get fussed at when I went to work in civilians and would be told to put some clothes on, lol. But I didn't see anything wrong with it as my definition of "revealing" differs from others.
Posted a couple of pictures of me in this beautiful new dress that I got. I loved the dress. Loved me in it. So I posted it ❤

When I did it in the past, it was for external validation. I wanted people to notice my hard work and compliment me on it. This was years ago when I'd take shirtless pictures and log my workout progress on instagram. It didn't work out in my favor though si I stopped doing it and boy am I glad I did.

Saying that I post revealing pictures of myself would be an exaggeration, since they are in suit and tie, or closed collar jacket.
The most revealing would be a short-sleeved abacost.

Anyone can see them and who knows what they might do with them.
I guess individuals who do it, are fishing for compliments or asking for validation.
I get why you'd share your pics with your family and friends on Instagram, but I don't get why anyone would post their pics on a site like G@G..

I truly believe people do it to get a reaction out of the other person and feel wanted emotionally or sexually. That dives more in kinks

You can also do it to be loved or attention

I started honestly cuz I was bored and curious. I wasn’t looking for attention (I used an alias anyway). I just wanted a way to distract myself from what I was going through. So I did something I 1. Never did before and 2. Thought I’d never do.

I dont. I wear very modest clothes. I even dont have a selfie of me of on my private Instagram but i respect people who post very revealing pictures of them. It is their life. They dokt hurt anyone

I personally don't post pictures of social and my girlfriend too, eventhough she like wearing revealing and maximize exposure outfits in public and love snapshots too for album and friends and family.

For men, its for show and to have confidence. Othertimes it because they used to be fat and now their fit. For women its for profit.

But friends and family do it mainly as a flex or inspiration to others.
