How would you describe your lowest low?

Sitting at the bottom of a dark dry well, the only light streaming through reflects off a razor blade, glistening and tempting.

as I look up, the cover on the well is slowly push in place, long bony fingers grip the cover and push in place.

it’s darkness complete, the blade slit glistens, tempting and there.

Then that soft seductive voice, briefly whispers sending shivers over my skin,

‘take it, feel it’s power, feel the desire, free yourself’

my fingers seek release and freedom…..
