What's the lowest you've ever been?

Late to this question, but I’ve had many lows.


I’ve had my lowest of lows when I was from the ages 13-17ish. This was when I was struggling with myself and I felt like I didn’t know who I was. I did drugs, I got in trouble with school, I fought with my family, I was hospitalized for mental health, I had no real friends, I had “boyfriends” who didn’t care about me, I was self destructive, and I was just suffering.


When I was 17, I started to get back on track with my life and started doing well, but I was still in my lowest. It was kinda stagnant, I was doing good but I was still not doing great. I turned 18 and dated a guy who was abusive to me, but I was also doing good and being an “adult” by going to college and working. It felt like I was being ripped in half because I had something bad dragging me down, and something good lifting me up. I was still dealing with this type of “low” up until maybe March of this year (2022).

I was in a position where I felt trapped and was very unhappy. I felt like there was no answer or positive outcome. I tried to do something horrible. That’s all I want to say about it.

Before i was able to turn my self around i once got to the point where i was living at home and had not been in a relationship for years, was stuck in a dead end job and felt really sad about it all, i tried contacting some friends but no one was around to chat, that night when everyone was out of the house i started crying and curled up into a ball, i thought about ending it but the idea of my mum coming home and finding me dead and the trauma that would inflict on her for the rest of her life stopped me
