Why does my iPhone 5s run out of battery after 10 minutes of use?

I charge my iPhone 5s fully to 100%
The last few months after I take a few photos, make a few calls & look at Instagram the battery runs out.
Im waiting for the new iPhone to come out.
Do I need to replace my battery cause I don’t want to buy another phone close to the new iPhone release date.

That happened to my iPhone 5s too back when I had one. I think it was because I was using cheap chargers. One day, it never turned back on when the battery died 😔 So I went & got a new iPhone.

Because it's 8 years old and batteries don't last that long. Might be worth looking for a place that will replace it.

You can replace the battery if you like the phone. There're not strong batteries. The iPhone Se (2016) is the same. I have an iPhone Se. The battery health is at 91% but it drains really quick.

You can buy a new battery and watch a YouTube video how to replace the battery then buy the tools. It’s cheap. Probably under $50 to do it yourself. Very easy.

Because Apple programmed their older iPhones to lose battery power after a certain period of time. They have admitted it.
