Lol 5'7 isn't that tall for a woman. You're still shorter than a lot of guys and most guys don't even care about height even if a woman is still taller, there will be a crap load of guys that don't even care. I'm 5'4 myself and there's a lot of women that are like 5'7+ that I found and still find extremely attractive, it doesn't phase me that they're taller. If I like a woman and she's attractive idc if she's taller than me. I have a crush on one 5'10 woman and one 5'8 woman on apps and I didn't even meet them in person, they're just really pretty and beautiful.
I prefer a woman shorter then me (I'm 5ft 9in). It's more cute when she's smaller then me. Easier to pick her up, carry her, or piggyback rides lol. She fits better being little spoon. Can do creative positions in sex easier the lighter/smaller she is 😉 lol. She looks up to me to kiss me. I can easily look down at her boobs when she wears a low cut shirt walking next to her lol. I feel helpful getting things off a high shelf for her. Everything she does is more adorable :). I like her small hands, especially when holding hands 👫. It's cute my clothes look big on her lol. She can lean against me easier when sitting next to each other without her needing to lean forward or bend her body. I feel more like her protector being taller/bigger then her.
These things aren't essential for me. More like preference bonuses. Reasons I can come up with why I like a partner shorter then me. Majority of women are shorter then me anyways though.

Aren't women the ones that are generally more fussy with height?
In theory, I like the idea of dating a taller woman, it's almost kind of comforting to me, from the POV of someone who's never dated.
That being said, I'm not more or less attracted to someone based off of their height, unless they're like a dwarf or something and look somewhat abnormal due to height.
I think being taller is associated with being more masculine and on average men are taller, so I guess that's why they prefer smaller women.
For me though, I don't care, as I'm only 159cm, so taller or shorter doesn't matter to me, taking the 3rd line into consideration.
Society has indoctrinated us to believe it is the male role to protect the female. It is easier for a male to feel protective if the female is smaller than him rather than larger than him.
On the other hand, too much of a difference will just result in a sore, stiff neck for you, as you'll have to reach up a distance in order to just kiss him. Just find something that's comfortable for both of you. There is no ideal height. It's just about how you fit.
For me preference isn't in sense of measurements but i mean shorter as shorter than me personally... or shorter than a guy if in general it was asked... ofc tall girls are beautiful too no doubt... ideally to me its like girl reaching guy's chin or shoulder
Not all guys do, and what it really is is that most guys prefer women shorter than them, not ones that are necessarily short.
