They are giant hornets and most will know them as Japanese giant hornet. They where not created in some lab in China. Like many animal species not native to the US its safe to say that a few came other with cargo and simply established themselves in the US. Also that whole made in a lab idea is impossible. They where given their scientific name in 1852. So they where a scientifically recognized species back in the 1800.

Also grown in lab in China is a stupid catch all that politicians and media that works with them use to further agendas. They do so pretty much counting on peoples lack of scientific knowledge and use peoples fear to inspire support for their agenda. If science was as advanced as "grown in lab in China" applies I'd be walking around in terminator style body and living on a colony on Mars already. Two thing that would make me a lot happier.
