That means i should have been so ages ago. But hospitalisation would do nothing for me that would just make me worse.
I think this is very much a person by person bases. Some people it would help to do so, some people not.

I remember playing Russian Roulette one very drunken night. I dropped a round in my.44 Magnum, put it to my head and pulled the trigger, passed the pistol to a guy on my right who did the same thing.

It can happen if the ammunition was old and compromised so that it didn't have enough power to penetrate far. That said, even a blank cartridge can kill you if the muzzle is placed on the temple as what happned to actor Jon Hexum when he put a 44 mag gun to his head with a blank and it killed him.
