Because she's an egoistical cunt with a bad attitude who treats everyone around her poorly. Probably worse than Mariah Carey. I've worked in music security in the past. Everyone hates Jennifer Lopez/ Besides that though, she's also extremely fake and pretends to be down-to-earth and all, in stark contrast to her diva behavior, which is why the general public doesn't seem to like her, either. Also, she can't take a joke, as seen in the South Park "Taco Flavored Kisses" episode. She's basically a female Kanye, before Kanye.

And she tried to sue them for the episode, but it never went anywhere because you can't sue people for parody and it goes against the First Amendment. She also fired people on the set of her movies who liked South Park. The worst thing is, she complained about the fact that her hand puppet in the episode had a Mexican accent, when she claims she doesn't have an accent.

Again, she's a female Kanye.

I like her but I've only seen her music videos and watched the Selena film (I really liked her acting in that one, but not so much in rom-coms). I never paid much attention to what she does elsewhere.
