Would Shrek and Fiona still have been together if she turned back into a human in the first film?

The second movie answers this question best, because when they became human she wasn’t impressed with his non-ogre self (Prince Charming, we know that isn’t shriek but I’m sure you get what I mean lol), she fell for who he was on the inside. In the first movie she spent majority of it as a human and they still fell for eachother as well.

I believe it would have just because they were already in love with eachother when she was human and he was an ogre. Before lord farquad (or however you spell it) came to get her, I could be wrong but I feel like I remember shrek saying something along the lines of her staying with him in the swamp and she said she’d like that. I think he was wanting her to visit but just with her response alone I got the impression that she wanted to see more of him, and this was all happening with her as a human.

Seems right, I guess the reason she changed into an ogre permanently was so they could have normal kids and not mutant babies like Dragon and Donkey lol. Maybe if neither of them wanted kids, she would've stayed human.

Well she became an ogre permanently not by choice, but because when she broke the curse, she took loves truest form. And yeah, donkey and dragon had some abominations for sure😂

True lol and hypothetically if she did have the choice of whether to be an ogre or not, I’m not sure what she would’ve done. Staying human seems like the easier route just for living day to day, but knowing shrek accepted that part of her may have made her choose to stay as that regardless..

She was already falling for him while she was a human tho. Maybe she didn’t want to be an ogre, but it wasn’t effecting how she saw shrek. I feel like Billy’s question is more of a “would she settle if she didn’t stay an ogre”, but that wouldn’t make sense because she wasn’t in a position to have to settle, Shrek was literally delivering her to a king lol
