I'm shocked at how cruel some people on here can be. They seem to lack empathy about others and butcher others in their comments, often hiding behind the veil of anonymity.

Watch what will happen to this question too. I bet I'll get comments saying "I'm a troll" or that "I'm looking for sugarcoated answers", or even calling me names

some years ago i joined this site and I've dealt with a big amount of Racism and yeah people behind their screens could be cruel or rude because they know nobody is watching or knowing who they are and where but then i joined again now and found its getting better..
good and bad people are everywhere not just online but at work in school. everywhere.
be strong. be brave and learn to face anything..
by the way people who are cruel Racist etc have their issues. they are not happy coz happy people dont do that shit..

You either accept there are asses out there, stand up to them, learn to adjust or you let it get to you and avoid conflicting spaces. Taking a break is another option. Things we dislike will never go away. Part of life.

Yes, a majority of the people here suck but that's everywhere on internet. Hivemind and poor assumptions are here but it isn't as bad as somewhere like Reddit though. May be best to take a breather, or limit your usage at the very least, if it's affecting your mental health.

I see some people being disrespectful on this site and it makes me angry as well. However, other people really make me laugh and some make me think. Some have stories that really break my heart. I also have made two or three friends that I would really miss if I left this site.
