Should I get rid of this dating site?

One I’ve signed up for, has all these hot guys sending long messages. One of them spoke to me like he knows me and when I asked if he did, he sent me an apple emoji, which means he’s expressing his love. He only looks slightly like a guy that’s been pursuing me for a long time that I’m not interested in, that won’t take no for an answer. He said things in reference to choosing to walk a path together and be a couple as his opening line. I spoke to an older guy I’m friends with, who said it’s probably the same guy. How likely is it to be the same guy; and should I close this dating site down?

maybe they think if they send longer messages it looks like there more interested? i usually tried to keep things more simple unless i actually knew the person

Maybe so. Do you think it’s the same guy, that’s been chasing me, or is it coincidental that he’s going on about unexpected romance in a relationship (we’re not in a relationship and that’s similar to what the guy chasing me said).

i have no idea , if they sound similar could be a connection but hard to say , is there anything about profiles which is identical or seems too similar

Well if it seems like him then it's possible that it might be him and if you were to get catfished, this guy will be the one to have the highest chances of being this catfish, if you wanna get rid of the site is up to you but that online stuff always has the risks of catfishinv and in some occasions maybe worse but I don't know tho
