I've never been mistaken for any nationality other than an American. I've been told things like, "You sound just like an American," or "You have the strongest American accent I've ever heard."
So far as I'm concerned, I have no accent at all, so I've always found this odd.
Everywhere. I've been called a slav, fin, argentinian, American, British, Asian, Canadian, italian, spaniard, nord, the list is huge, anything but brasilian
When people hear me speak they think I'm American or Canadian
When they see me they think I am Brazilian/Spanish
I am Indian and am Bengali...
But the way I speak English confuses everyone
LOL
Indian as in from India... i dont quite see it though 🤷 or Mexican... Not too far fetch... I'm latina and people are just generalizing... But I'm Puerto Rican.
🇵🇷 Soy Borinqueña!
Thank you for the MHO 🙂

German if any. Which isn't wholly wrong, I am Germanic fundamentally, as a Swede we're called north Germanic. I mean we as a people-group are spread out over a few European countries, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany itself, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland.
I'm Kurdish but the ones I get the most are Persian, Assyrian, Arab and Turkish but I've gotten been told some different nationalities from South America before.
I’m Chinese and I’ve been mistaken for Filipino or Korean before, I did not mind, but I think they were disappointed we did not have languages or cultures in common.
Swedish or even Finnish because I'm Norwegian and some people can only remember I'm from some frozen country lol
A lot of people thought I was Latino at a place I worked at, like I had older Latina ladies coming up to me and asking me stuff in Spanish lol, which I dont know much of
Anything from Africa.
And you don't look Russian so much as Czech. It's the pale complexion and hazel eyes. Also probably the height. You're kind of tall.
I have never been mistaken for anything other then Italian. But since I am 50% Italian and 50% Polish, I guess that could also be the answer.
I don't get mistaken for my nationality but I get mistaken for my ethnicity. I've been mistaken for Hispanic/Latina a couple of times
American. Because I learned to speak English with an American accent.
That’s a really beautiful picture of the world! But to answer your question, I’ve never been mistaken for another nationality.
People think I'm from USA because of my texting style or something. Don't know. I've been told that a lot so..
People do notice a slight foreign touch in my (English) language. But they usually don't figure it out and just make blind guesses. There has been -i. e.- 'Australian' and 'Dutch'.
While I was abroad at different times, a few people have suggested or thought that I look more Mediterranean than Irish.
Its not a nationality but Balkan. To be fair, I looked Balkan people up and I see the resemblance.
I've heard Italian the most. However, I have also been told I look Russian or Japanese. The only part that people get right is the Italian part haha
I get 2 all the time. First one is Norwegian and second German. Am from Iraq 🤣
A little bit of everything except any black or pure East Asian nationality
White... that's all I get.
People are lazy and ignorant and I've grown accustomed to stop expecting much from them.
Spanish, Cambodian, Hawaiian surf's up dude lol... It's all good I'm half Lao/ Laos and half Portuguese tho:)
People never guess my actual nationality lol. I don't blame them. Usually Irish, Scottish, German, or Russian. Surprisingly never Sweden, Finland, or Norway lol.
Yeah, you don't look French at all. LOL I'm Polish, and I get mistaken for Russian the most. Dutch comes in a close second, but that's only because they don't know the difference between Poland and Holland. And German is probably third.
A New Yorker because of my personality. 🤣🤣. I’m from CA. Yeah, I know that not a nationality. 😊🇺🇸
Even though I am Hispanic, I am oftenly mistaken as arabic or indian, in chats.
I can definitely see that. I get mistaken for a Martian quite often.
I'm Black American. People always think I am an islander (Bahamas, Antigua, West Indes, etc.)
Being 100% Celtic. I am only 99.9% thank you very much.
I’ve been confused for a lot of things middle eastern, mixed, mexican, etc.
Not a nationality but people often think I’m half white just because I have green eyes 🙄

People sometimes think I am Hispanic but I am Italian.
