Is stalking people on social media a bad thing?

I do that quite often specially when i am bored.
Just to see what's up with their life and their dressing style and pictures and some good restaurants/tour suggestions.

Eh tbh I would say it’s not a bad thing because that’s what it’s kind of there for. The internet gives you easy access to stay around in somebody’s life/check on them. I would say that’s how most people use social media, even if they won’t admit it. That’s why I love the fact that I live off the grid , because no one can keep track of my life.

Uhh, i don’t think you’re stalking them unless you’re going on the dark web or hacking their social media accounts. They put their pictures and posts out there for you to see it. You don’t sound like a stalker.

Not really. They either have you added and they want you to see it or their private profile or their profile is public and they want everyone to see. It’s not like stand outside someone’s house waiting for them to come out.

we say stalking as a "joke". it of course isn't stalking. cause you're not invading their privacy. you're just looking at public information that they are consenting to be public. so it's not a bad thing.
