Why is baby shampoo tear free?

It’s not tear free! When you buy that shit you’ll pay MORE For LESS, that would make me tear. On the other hand if olive oil is made from olives & vegetable oil is made from vegetables what is baby oil made from?
Because it's much harder to convey to a baby "you need to close your eyes now" than it is to an adult. They probably make "tear-free" shampoo for adults; if not, you can use the baby stuff. It's not going to hurt you.
I’ve always wondered why that isn’t done for adults also.
Because babies are stoopid and can't handle emotions

The tweet is a joke.
But baby shampoo contains less surfactants. So while less tears, it's also less of what makes you clean.
Adults know how to close their eyes while rinsing off.
Can you image giving those poor babies tears? For shame, sir! For shame.
because it doesn’t have such chemicals that’s can be damaging to the scalp, skin,
and eyes on a sensitive baby. there are also tear free regular shampoos.
Because at some point you're supposed to be smart enough not to put shampoo in your eyes. I guess that doesn't happen to everybody though...
How else do you clean your eyelashes?
WTF WTF WTF OMG I DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO THROW UP CRY OR LAY ON THE GROUND AND DIE LAUGHING
Babies are not emotionally developed enough to control their emotions. They cry for everything 🙄
And yeah, this is a joke
People who manufacture the baby shampoos are ageists
You're perfectly free to use baby shampoo. It keeps your hair clean and shiny.
It would be stupid to make a shampoo that is designed to make babies cry.
Because babies don't know they need to keep soap out of their eyes.
No chemicals and yes won’t irritate when they get into babies eyes
Exactly. As if chemicals are fine for adults.
Babies can't keep it out of their eyes, we can.
Not as strong I guess
