Have you done a Turkey drive-by?

Nope, my father caught a wild turkey he saw walking be the side if the road. He had a burlap sack in the cr and put it over the turkey. We had it for dinner that weekend. It really did not taste as good as the turkeys you buy in the store. It was not grain fed and was kind of stringy.
I literally just drove past some on my street, like ten minutes ago. No one is occupying the house whose lawn they were on, so you could’ve let it rip. House next door is a former police chief though, he might fire back lmao.
I know someone who released some turkeys in the UK with the intention of coming for a Christmas shoot. None of the turkeys were ever found or seen again

Bu then you have to hire someone to skin it, clean it, remove the ammo, cut off the non edible parts and let it bleed dry, etc., unless you are a skilled hunter, or trained to live off the land, etc.
Very dumb idea. You could hit two turkeys, above your licensed quota and go to jail.
Animal cruelty and gun safety must be things you've only read about in comic books, huh?
That’s the last thing you want is for a warden to catch you doing such.
With a Turkey shortage it might come to that but I hope you know how to butcher it yourself and don’t get caught, also wild turkeys are too lean so the meat is tough
I mean… I would hope you use.22
Hunting from a car is illegal and dangerous.
Fish and Game might not be too happy about that
