Yeah, I went during COVID and it was incredible because the country felt like it was just being discovered. I've also never seen so many hot girls in one place. The interior felt a bit more traditional and stereotypical Middle East, but the coastal areas felt a bit more Westernized and progressive. I wouldn't say it felt "European", but it didn't feel "Middle Eastern" either. Antalya was much more beautiful than I expected. I liked the ruins better than the ones in Greece and Italy.

That being said, the food was largely disappointing and it made me sick. It was so bland and dry. The European variations are way better. But my biggest complaint is the people. If you're a foreigner, it seems like everyone is out to scam you. The people completely ruined what otherwise would have been a perfect trip and country. I think it was still my favorite trip though. A lot of them are also stupid. They think every White tourist is Russian. They would just randomly start talking to us in Russian.

Yeah. There are a few acceptions, but generally speaking, it seems the most interesting countries in the world have the world shittiest people.
