Can you tell if someone is a psychopath just by hearing their voice and how they speak?

Agreed with the other answers. I went on the dark side of YouTube looking up the minds of school shooters. Like Nikolas Cruz , he’s a sociopath and he tried to fake having a mental illness to try and get a shorter sentence. There’s a video on YouTube that amazingly breaks down his behaviors that shows he isn’t a psychopath. Actual psychopaths tend to come off calm, polite, and act overall normal.

No. Its actually very difficult to diagnose psychopathy, and many psychopaths wind up in positions of power. Sociopathy, on the other hand, is much easier to spot.

Literally yes. I don't know if you understand what a psychopath is. They feel no actual morality themselves, but are capable of understanding that most people do, and therefore are willing to play along when it suits them, so that they may acquire power and influence so that they can live the life they believe they deserve.

Sociopaths, on the other hand, have no conscience, either, but they don't even pretend to show regard for right and wrong, or the feelings of others.

A psycho will recognize that getting caught torturing an animal will be frowned upon, and therefore makes sure not to get caught if he chooses to engage in it. In the unlikely event he IS caught, he will have a very good excuse ready to give. A sociopath won't care. He'll just torture animals, because that's what he wants to do at that moment.

Tl;dr, a psychopath is like a spy, where you never really know if they are good or bad, or if they are even suffering psychopathy. A sociopath is like a monstrous human you see in horror movies.

@Noname223 I read a book that said they got rid of the sociopath diagnosis & now it’s just psychopath. And to answer your question it’s hard to tell if someone is psychopath because they usually have very high levels of intelligence & are always calm under person. They have superficial charm & sound cute when they’re flirting, that’s only way I can tell if they are. They just sound really cute & charming I don't know how to describe it in words. The things they say sounds really cute or I can agree with what they’re saying most of the time, but it sounds kind of artificial because of their apathy that they have. It’ll sound very charming, but it’s like no emotion behide it. They know how to adapt to any situation accordingly, so they usually blend in very well.
