I mean white people are among the most genetically homogeneous groups. As is the far east.

Like compared to the enormous genetic variety of Africa, Iceland and Japan are basically populated by clones. I mean I can't tell old white guys apart to save my life. And I AM white.

But ethnically, white Americans are mostly German by a pretty decent amount. Basically, the British, French, and Spanish settled and fought over the country, but Germans populated it. Hell, I live nearplaces like Louisville, St Louis, and French Lock. But good luck finding anyone French. We're so German, our cuckoo clocks wear leiderhosen. We're so white, you could draw on us with white crayon and the crayon would be darker. You could bleach a blank sheet of paper and it would be darker. We look in the mirror and get sunburned by the reflection of our own glow.

I mean I say all that in gest... Germans generally tan super well and it's the Irish who look at a picture of the sun and get skin cancer. God I love white jokes.

But yeah Europe is super homogeneous and modern England was settled/conquered by Germans. So they're about as German as the Dutch are. And I can already see the Dutch pitchforks heading my way...

I can't say if one is from England or America based on their looks.
