Whats a common theme in your dreams?

Whenever it's a nightmare the air is always salty in my dreams. Like I have a taste of salt water in my mouth.

switching... in many or most of my friends, the scenarios, people and circumstances do switch to something or someone different...

it happens often so one night... can feel like I had two, three or even four different dreams

did you have a trauma related to "salt", drowning, forced to eat salty? dreams are the brain working out stuff.

Not that I can remember. Other common themes are black blood, and a just a lot of pain in general. Most common is the thick heavy salty air, I know it's a bad dream the moment the air turns to that.

I did nearly drown when I was 5 but that couldn't be it, it was so long ago.

emotionally impactful events are very powerful and lie in the sub conscious mind. could be.

none of it makes sense to me, but it does to your brain and body.

For me a common theme is being at my grandma's old house, and having some kind of creepy monster or murderer running around.

I get chased by dogs a lot. I also am visited by a friend who was murdered.
