I just remembered that I didn't learned in school that brazil basically genocided you guys after argentina and uruguay took a beating from you.

When it comes to school, I learned that brazilians learned equality between men from the war. (since slaves were freed if they agreed to fight and stuff like that)
I definitely didn't learn you ended up with 10% of your male population and even 50% of the women killed.

My wife’s family is Paraguayan. That war happened during our civil war 150 years ago. But from what I read it was bad. Comes down to hairsplitting over genocide vs innocent casualties of war,
