Widespread use of Weed?

Weed usage has become quite high, especially among teen people. What do you think of that?

When I was in high school, it was often common for the students to smoke weed since the dealers would sell minors weed; they didn't need to check IDs. It was much tougher to get alcohol or cigarettes (typically had to shoplift or befriend an adult) than weed.

I often think if weed is legalized and to the point of driving underground dealers out of business (won't happen overnight), that probably won't completely prevent teens from smoking it but it should at least mitigate it by making it more difficult for them to acquire as with the case of alcohol and tobacco.

Underground dealers are often not only happy to sell illegal substances to minors but often target them as they can be a lucrative demographic with many connections.

I don't really have an opinion on it? When I was in high school it was pretty spread among the people in my school. I think every third person smoked it (they often smoked during the lunch break), and you could easily buy it since there were quite a lot of guys who were selling it. Personally, I never tried it or felt a need to, but I don't judge anyone who does it neither I see it as a problem (as long as they aren't addicted to it).
