Was never given legos as a kid. I think maybe my mother didn’t want the mess to clean up.. or step on.

Oh I don't even remember everything I built with lego. Big spaceships and large castles was my favorites. The cool stuff is better than the official sets but that mostly because they are so large that the set would become too expensive to sell well.
