From my own standpoint, I failed to reach the two goals I wanted most in life: gaining an appointment to the US Naval Academy and becoming a naval aviator. What makes is worse is that my friend Scott accomplished both.

Most people say that I have achieved quite a bit. I feel that I came up short.

I would say I have not achieved many degrees but I obsess over doing the best I can - cause it’s the only survival tactic that has kept me around this long, like I told my friend, if I did not become Christian as a child, I might be a serial killer or drug addict or abused woman with five kids etc.. My parents knew how to make money but were not good at offering emotional support or teaching morals and they did far more harm
than good.

Yes I am. When I'm determined for something then I become super stubborn for it and won't leave it unless I achieve it. Because of passion, dignity and respect. However I can be coward infront of mom.

I have two Masters Degrees, I have a great wife and three successful kids. I live in a nice house in a pretty affluent town and have a vacation house. I have been a marathon runner and an avid gym rat.

@TrueConfection Yes, to have a happy marriage it takes a lot of work. I would like to take credit for how my kids turned out but it was mostly my wife that was responsible for that.

Academically yeah. I just earned my MBA, graduated summa cum laude both for my undergrad and grad degrees! Also published some papers, gonna start my own business and continue my parents’ legacy
