We're just animals dude, our only life purpose is to fuck and reproduce, everything else is just a man made constructs and self imposed standards or insecurities we feel we have to live up to.
Other than making a new generation so we don't go extinct, which at this point sense we are so overpopulated we don't really even need to do that, is just extra. We have no life purpose.
We make replacement humans for ourselves, try to pass on all the knowledge we have to them, then we die.
What peice of dirt you life on don't matter, your house, weither its a cabin in the wood or a mansion don't matter, what you drive dosent matter, your believes and opinions don't matter, how much money you earned and leave behind dosent matter, and again, overpopulated so kids don't matter, knowledge is at everyone's finger tips so you instowing wisdom dosent matter.
There is no life purpose, if the reality that we are all insecnifisant upsets you that sucks, sorry, but it is the truth.
As long as you aren't hurting anyone or suppressing anyone's rights do whatever you want, it dosent matter. You can play the capitalism game and try to die being worth more than 1 million dollars or you could be a bagpacker that never has more than 100 bucks at any given time, dosent matter or affect anyone , surgery dosent affect the world.00 Reply

We make purpose. We give the tasks we do meaning. We think of our time on certain things as investments, something we believe we will gain from later.
But hindsight is 20/20. No one knows the future. Believing in belief - fate, karma, higher beings who have a purpose laid out for us... they are all methods people use to find some meaning, and make some order out of randomness and chaos.
Perhaps contentment, and fulfillment, and satisfaction, come from staving off chaos to the best of our abilities, and with effort. Effort is important. It is through effort we can be proud of achievements, and then we will make the connection, true or not, that our efforts were the cause, and result, of what we achieved... or what happened.
To answer your second question, I haven't. But I have figured out what I am good at (to some extent, in some ways), and I now know (believe) that they are where I should put (invest) my energy. Because they give the most efficient pay-out, and that makes me feel good. And feeling good is more than mere indulgence. It gives us optimism, and hope, and the energy to get up and do it again, or do something more, or different. To keep trying. Sometimes what we have to tell ourselves is not that we achieved - or didn't - but that we kept trying, no matter what.12 Reply- +1 y
Just my thoughts, looks like I don't have to type all that out XD
Although for part B, I would say (part A answer) gives me freedom to explore whatever I feel like, with the knowledge that any value or sense of purpose I place on my actions is a subjective illusion I have created. - +1 y

+1 yI donāt know the āexactā purpose of course but I think I pretty much know what I want and have most my shit figured out..
To me anyway since young Iāve always believed life is what you make of it and if you canāt justify something then donāt do it. Life should be about hedonism in the simplest of ways.. I donāt mean that in a reckless behaviour type of thing but if it cause pleasure or makes you happy there canāt ever be too much of something as long as negative consequences can be controlled
For me anyway. Iām studying law at uni but thatās definitely not my purpose. Iām close to graduating now and as a career as long as I make a decent amount of money itās not that important. I want to see how far I can push my body in bodybuilding and powerlifting as a life thing though. Iām damn good at it and I know it so why not excel in that one thing? Nothing is excessive if youāre achieving pleasure from it. Having my own business one day perhaps kids and secure relationships. Iām a simple creature otherwise..
Stop worrying about others and focus on yourself is best I think. You need to be selfish sometimes10 Reply

To ×Ŗ×ק×× ×¢××× ("tikkun olam"; "tih-KOON oh-LAM"; ćheal/repair (the) worldć), or, at the very least, make sure I leave the world even a little marginally better then when I entered it. (This is know by readings of Scripture & commentaries of the Judeo-Christian traditions.)
As to the specifics of HOW to do so, that is yet to be finalized. Life-experiences, trial & error, and successes & face-plants have brought me from 1 mission/plan to another, allowing me to collect building-blocks and assemble them along the way. But as fate has happened, salvaging what what can be of the building-blocks & block-combinations collected is definitely necessary. That way, as close to "nothing" as possible is wasted. Things will add-up in due time. I must be patient, keep searching, keep striving, and keep building.00 Reply

+1 yOne purpose? Unlikely. According to your age, education, opportunities and drive, you have lots of purposes. Parent, lover, friend, colleague, volunteer, mentor.
But maybe you mean, what your career goal is? And again, people go through stages. What's your interest, interests? Can you find a way to feed and develop those interests? Who can be a mentor to you? Can education be a path to your career goal? Will finances stand in the way?
There are many questions you have to ask yourself and you then need to commit to working toward that goal. Give it a long, hard dedicated attempt. Then if it doesn't work for you, have a second goal in mind that could also work. Have a plan, work the plan, revise the plan.
And most importantly, be happy with the goal, the plan to get to it and the ultimate outcome. If you're not happy, revamp and start over. Doesn't matter if you're 20 or 70. You can always do it over. People who are happiest, have followed their hearts and souls and have supportive, loving friends and families.10 Reply - 899 opinions shared on Other topic.

This is everyoneās purpose in life or should be:
āAnd he said to him, āYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.āā
āāMatthew⬠ā22:37-40⬠āESVā¬ā¬
To love and worship and serve God is the purpose for everyoneās life. There is no other purpose and unhappiness comes from attempting to find purpose outside of this.
Additionally:
āDelight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.ā
āāPsalm⬠ā37:4⬠āESVā¬ā¬
Meaning when you delight yourself in God, he puts in your heart the desires he wants you to have. Wether itās to be a doctor, or a janitor, whether itās the desire to undertake a certain task or reach a certain goal, God places the desire in our hearts. Obviously, not every desire we have comes from God, but the ones we have that line up with scripture were placed in the heats by God for those who serve him.
Reading scripture is how I discovered my purpose is not to serve myself and selfish desires but to serve God in the capacity he has given me desires in which to serve him.10 Reply - 7.3K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yI discovered mine gradually and I also believe my purpose might change from one life stage to the next, I believe I was meant to pursue knowledge, share my knowledge with others, bring happiness to the emotional lives of Godās children, and enjoy fellowship with God, while doing things to earn money which I plan on doing through book writing, also I believe I was meant for nature, to enjoy trips to the lake or the beach, and form connections with people, to do modest and light physical work, and to perfect who I am so I can go to heaven after I die, and if God desires it, marry too.

+1 yI don't believe there is a purpose. You can live life like a saint or like a scumbag. We all end up in the dirt at the end of the day. However, I do try to follow a path in life that gives me more positive emotions than other paths. That way, when I am at the end of my life I can say it was a life worth living.
Being kind to people gives me a sense of fulfillment. Living for family and loved ones keeps me grounded. Being in tune with nature clarifies my thoughts and eases my mind. When I die, I can die easy because I know I was a good person in life.10 Reply
+1 yI always liked the idea of helping people which is why I went into healthcare. Some people think once somebody does it for a job or for money that it's not the same as helping people for the sake of doing good for others. I don't look at it that way though, I look at it as if I have to make a living somehow I'd rather make a living helping people and doing good for others than by doing something else. So I view this as one of my main life purposes.

+1 yI don't know about a definite life purpose but for me, I'd say medicine and women's rights are my life's purposes.
I'm passionate about them, willing to sacrifice things for them, feel comfortable talking and learning about them and they simply give me happiness. I think what you have to do is try a ton of things. Get involved in everything and whatever you don't like, forget about it. If you find things you're passionate about, continue with them!10 ReplyI knew my purpose early on in life. It is just now impossible to achieve because my body betrayed me and I had poor health and didn't finish puberty. So I had to give up my life's dreams early on in my mid 20s. And honestly, nine years later, I still haven't developed or figured out a new life's purpose yet. I'm still aimlessly drifting in my "after life" with no point or purpose, since being tall, having a partner, and having a family are now 100% impossible to achieve for me.

+1 yI dont question life. I feel we were placed on this earth to live, love, laugh, learn and reproduce. So i dont really get what there is to question? Unless you mean career wise?
41 Reply 530 opinions shared on Other topic. I figured mine out when I stopped chasing things that ultimately do not mix with me, and gave up the youthful philosophy of trying to "find myself" ages ago. The more you think you need to find yourself the more you just get lost.
Also, if you learn to simply live life day to day and worry about each day's issues at a time instead of wondering what your worth is, what your purpose is, etc., you find that things will just fall into place in time.00 Reply
+1 yI think life in general has no purpose, it just is.
I'm just trying to live my life the best I can, reasonably content, working on my flaws, experience as much as I can. I say yes to challenges even if they bring me out of my comfort zone so I can live a full life.
And on my death bed, I don't want to think about all the chances and opportunities I missed.
Careerwise, something with AI and VR, but it's not my life purpose or calling, it is just my interest.00 ReplyAl hamdulillaah, thanks to Allaahās teachings in Quran and sunnah I know exactly why he created me and whatās the purpose of my existence and where I am going. Without Islam I would be just as dumb as anyone else who think they are right but treating everyone else with injustice.00 ReplyMake a checklist-
>Does it help me raise my self esteem?
>Is it something I am already gifted in or good at?
>Is it smoothsailing and effortless?
>Is it energizing and gives me joy?
>Am I passionate about it?
>Am I able to provide solutions to other people's problem?(and it feels more like a joyful rendezvous with other people rather than a draining task)
>Is the universe constantly incentivising me to follow my passion?00 ReplyThe purpose of life is to live life and to maximize happiness without harming others. As much as we know this is the only life that you will ever get, so why waste it thinking about philosophical questions.

+1 yI believe I have, though I will not know for sure until I either succeed or come across a clear sign it is not meant to be. I have zeroed in on law enforcement, but my credit and fitness both need to be improved a bit before I can be sure. It is what has been on my heart the longest. Anytime I have found purpose, it has been when walking with Jesus and trusting him to guide me.

Well think of a game, how do you determine what the objective is? Incentives and punishment. I am obviously incentivized towards pleasure so I seek pleasure and avoid displeasure because it is punishing in its discomfort. If this seems shallow it is because it is. There is no deeper meaning to life and whatever you do is going to be erased so hard by the passage of time that not even a shred of its memory will live on.
